We had such a good 4th of July. First of all, we both slept through the night and when we woke up there was no throwing up! This is a huge deal for us. Between my heartburn/nausea/uncomfortableness in the middle of the night and Scotty's carpal tunnel, we rarely get to sleep all night. So we were already happy with our day but on top of that the weather was perfect! We played at the beach with my family all day and got a front row seat to a paddle board race. We both got a little too much sun but I think it was totally worth it. After cooling down with some delicious sundaes we went to watch fireworks at Turtle Bay with our friends. We had a great seat for fireworks and even though we spent more time in traffic than we did actually watching fireworks, I think the day was pretty successful.
we got too much sun too, we all look like lobsters, you'd think we would know better but it was just so beautiful!
