Anniversary

First off, let me just say that I married an awesome guy. Our year wedding anniversary was on Sunday but since Scotty had to work on boards this weekend, he surprised me by taking off work on Friday and spending the whole day with me. He pretended to wake up and go to work then 45 minutes later he pulled back up to the house and told me we were going to have some fun. We got ready and headed downtown to spend the day at the zoo. Yep, me and my husband spend our wedding anniversary at the zoo. And we had so much fun! We had to take a lot of breaks since my giant belly makes my legs go numb and my back hurt but we had all day so we just took our time. After the zoo, we cooled off with some ice cream and did a little window shopping before heading to our dinner reservation at Duke's. Luckily we saved the gift certificate for something special because dinner was really good and our bank account wouldn't have allowed for such a fun day right now. Oh and I didn't get sick once so we actually got to enjoy a full day together with no worries! Our lives have been so consumed by pregnancy for the past 8 months, we have barely had one day of just pure fun. I think we both really needed a day like this.
