Stir crazy

Both Scotty and I have been going a little crazy lately. Maybe not crazy, but a little....bored?? There's a few reasons why we feel this way...
~ The weather has been awful! All weekend was storming with lightning and thunder so that cut into our beloved beach time. The sun has only made a few guest appearances in the last few days and we are people who thrive on sun.
~ It's technically summer so the waves on our side of the island are minimal to nonexistent. Scotty hates not surfing for too long, surfing is how he gets through his week. I can see his bones getting antsy when he doesn't get to surf, its basically his rejuvenation period after a hard work week and he is not rejuvenated lately. Especially when he still has to come home from work and take care of his pregnant wife after 6 months!
~ I am not working right now. As most of you know my pregnancy has not been the easiest. After much discussion and running of the numbers we decided that I needed to take a break before the baby came. It's been good for me,  I have been able to handle my sickness a little better without worrying about work everyday. I actually started gaining weight, so I finally got my doctor off my back! Everyday is different, some days I feel like I could handle working and I get pretty bored with nothing to do. But other days, like today, I am throwing up and stuck on the couch with a bottle of ginger ale.  I really should just appreciate the time I have now to relax while my husband works super hard to support us but I am so used to working that I don't know what to do with so much free time.

I think we just need one nice day! A sunny day with some waves where we can be outside and enjoy one another without being sick or stressed and tired from work. Is that too much to ask??
