For those of you who don't know, Scotty has had a side business of repairing surfboards for  while now. Recently though, it has turned into a booming success. There are more boards than my husband who already works about 11 hours a day doing construction can handle. Scotty is an absolute perfectionist when it comes to board repairs, so it's not uncommon that he redo his original work before giving it back to the owner, even though most people would never notice the tiny mistakes he does. I have been worried about him working too hard, especially since he has developed pretty bad carpal tunnel in his hands. But when I go with him to repair I realize that he doesn't just do it for the extra money that we obviously need, but he loves it. I'm a little jealous of him sometimes because his love for surfing can carry into other parts of his life like having this small business. There are a lot of things I love, but I am still searching for my niche, that one thing I am really good at. But I will find it, soon enough, maybe when school, work and pregnancy is not controlling my life. Until I do, I'll just keep bragging about my talented husband.
