Makapu'u

Our good friends the Harmons got back to the island this past week and we were very happy. We have been waiting for them all summer! We are both newlyweds and love to double date. So this weekend we went over the Makapu'u to hike to the lighthouse as our first date back in Hawaii . The hike was so fun, it was a beautiful day, we had our new camera and took lots of pictures. It was the longest I have walked since my surgery and it was hard, but felt really good to move so much. After a good hike we went to the beach and ate some snacks. It was just a good time. Well I was all excited to put my pictures on the computer and while they were uploading my computer freaked out and deleted all the pictures on my memory card. Luckily most of the pictures had already been uploaded but I was very upset about all our pictures disappearing! I threw a little hissy fit, I threw our card reader on the ground and shattered it (don't worry, it was obviously already broken) and Scotty just laughed at how ridiculous I was being. I just hate loosing memories like that! After I calmed down, Kelley and Rob came over and I realized that I will have many more opportunities to take photos of our adventures.

Kelley and Rob, I hope you remember how pretty the water was yesterday and how much fun it was! And for everyone else, just imagine sunshine, turquoise, blue and green water and four good looking people!!
